Meet the Authors
Born in San Antonio, Texas, Emily was raised in a military family that lived in Japan, Germany, Alaska, and all over the United States. She wrote these books while living in Kerrville, Texas. Emily has studied foreign gourmet cooking, and has participated in several cooking groups. Before moving to Kerrville, she worked at the United States Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs. She is very proud of her now large “clan” of children and grandchildren, and can honestly say that The Four Ingredient Cookbooks have helped all their busy lives.
Linda graduated college with a degree in Home Economics. She began her working career with a foods and nutrition program as an Extension Agent for Texas A&M University. She later taught Life Skills in Special Education classes in public schools, and now works in the home design field.
Her two children, Chris and Lisa are now grown. But they were just reaching their teenage years, when Emily and Linda’s first cookbook was published. Their numerous activities and the need to be taxied to those events were instrumental in creating the need for these simple recipes!
